The Melbourne Cup Carnival is one of Victoria's biggest tourism events; drawing more than 100,000 people from around the world each year. At 3pm on the first Tuesday in November the $8 million Lexus Melbourne Cup will take place at Flemington Racecourse. Last year a New Zealand-born horse, jockey and trainer took racing's most treasured prize when Verry Elleegant, trained by Chris Waller and partnered by jockey James McDonald defeated the Australian-bred galloper Incentivise and English-trained stayer Spanish Mission.  Be at Flemington to witness the race live in Melbourne or attend one of the many race meetings throughout New Zealand.  The race that stops nations can be the most enjoyable day wherever you choose to be.

The Warriors season is on hold due to Covid-19.  The NRL continues to search for ways for the competition to resume in the near future.

The uncertainty of what the International Rugby landscape looks like post Covid-19 is hard to predict.  Decisions on border control, social distancing and large gatherings will determine what Rugby action we will see in 2020. An amended domestic competition could take the shape of days of old, reverting back to Rugby in the pre-porfessional era.  Club, NPC and North South matches could have all our top players involved.
