New Zealand players plying their trade all over the world is paying dividends and augurs well for the immediate future of the game for NZ internationally. The RLWC this year will showcase the best on offer but it is hard to get past the Big 3 when looking at final contention. There is lots of opportunity to see RLWC games in NZ.
On the home front the NZ Warriors promises a lot year in year out but is yet to reach the consistency needed to compete at the top level There are encouraging signs however to beat the best on a regular basis requires a level of professionalism and dedication that has so far eluded them. There is no doubting their ability but until they find that mental hardness to go with that ability they will continue to just make up the numbers.

High calibre of guest speakers
